Custom Work

REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR A QUOTE OF A CUSTOM FLAG OR BANNER:

• Size
• Quantity
• Number of colours
• Example of use (e.g. indoor or outdoor)
• Required finishing (e.g. one-sided, double-sided, sleeve, grommets etc.)
• An example of design and graphics (can be emailed or faxed)

Customer will be contacted with a quote within 1-2 days from the receipt of the above information. All custom orders require a 50% deposit with the balance payable upon completion of order.
All applicable taxes are extra.
Usual delivery is approx. 3-4 weeks from receipt of artwork and deposit.
All screen-print orders are subject to a 10% over/under run. Accounts are adjusted accordingly. 
Artwork should be provided on disk or emailed in preferred file format.
Laser and PMT artwork are accepted but may be subject to additional art charges.
Customer must supply PMS or Pantone Matching System (COATED) numbers for all screen- printed orders.
Most quantity orders are screen-printed on durable knitted polyester for outdoor or indoor use.
Most single flag orders are appliquéd using heavyweight nylon bunting, or digitally printed on a variety of fabrics for outdoor or indoor use. Customer must choose colours from fabric samples.
Samples of screen-printed and appliquéd flags and banners are on display and available for viewing at our showroom at 911 Richmond Rd., Ottawa.

We DO NOT support Office products such as:

• Word
• Excel
• Corel Word Perfect
• Power Point

Supported Media:

• 100MB & 250MB ZIP Disks
• CD-ROM
• 3.5” Floppy Disks
• E-Mail 

Other Info

• All electronic graphics should be accompanied by a colour accurate hard copy for visual matching
• Artwork must be at least 72dpi @ 100% actual size
• Artwork must accompany the custom order. Orders will not be scheduled into production until proper artwork is received

Before saving your file:

• Convert text to curves (outlines)
• DO NOT use placed images
• DO NOT use bitmapped images

Saving your file:

• When sending from Corel Draw, export as an Illustrator 5 file

Other potential issues are all of those “Bells & Whistles” that your program uses to make your logo look great. When you use these added features, your logo may be compromised in the saving process. Always review your image after saving it, to ensure the quality of your image.

Photo specifications, Colours:

• All artwork charges and printed quotes are based on spot colour line art.
• Additional artwork charges may apply as required, when artwork includes graduated colours, half tones (less than 100% of a Pantone colour), four-colour process or is designed for traditional offset printing, which may need to be altered to meet the specifications for our printing process.
